Test before opening and during peak hours daily. Record all readings immediately. Adjust dosing and re-test after 30 minutes if out of range. Do not open the pool if chemistry is unsafe.
A twice-daily water quality testing log for gym and leisure centre pool operators recording chemical balance and water conditions. Tracks free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, water temperature, and bather load — with space for dosing adjustments made after each test. Designed for indoor pools where consistent chemical balance is critical due to the enclosed environment and heavy bather load.
Indoor gym pools operate at high bather density relative to water volume, which rapidly consumes sanitiser and changes pH. Unlike outdoor pools, they can't rely on UV from sunlight to assist sanitation. Twice-daily testing — before opening and during peak use — is the minimum to maintain safe water quality for members.
