Record actual readings rather than ticking a box. Any value outside the target range goes in the corrective actions box with the action taken and the date.
Hotels are the textbook setting for legionella risk: large hot water systems, long pipe runs, and rooms that sit empty for weeks with water standing in them. Controlling that risk is a duty under health and safety law, and the approved code of practice sets out what a reasonable scheme of control looks like.
This checklist follows that structure: sentinel temperatures at both ends of the system, flushing of little-used outlets, showerhead and hose condition, stored water, spa pools, and the written risk assessment, appointed responsible person and scheme of control that sit behind it.
