OSHA 1910.147 LOTO checklist for manufacturing equipment maintenance with machine-specific energy isolation.
OSHA's Control of Hazardous Energy standard (29 CFR 1910.147) is one of the most frequently cited standards. This manufacturing-specific LOTO checklist covers the required sequence: machine-specific energy identification, shutdown, isolation, lock and tag application, stored energy verification, and controlled re-energization.
One form per lockout event creates the documentation OSHA expects during inspections and citations.
