Temperature probe calibration log tracking reference checks, as-found/as-left readings, and scheduling.
Temperature probes and sensors must be regularly calibrated against a traceable reference to ensure accurate readings. This log records each calibration: sensor ID, reference standard used, ice-point and/or boiling-point check, as-found and as-left readings, tolerance compliance, and next calibration date.
Calibration records are required by HACCP, ISO 9001, and food safety standards. They demonstrate measurement reliability during audits and support defensibility of temperature records.
