Construction Site Daily Safety Checklist

Construction sites are among the highest-risk workplaces, and daily safety inspections are the primary tool for identifying and eliminating hazards before workers are exposed to them. This formal inspection form covers every major risk category on a typical construction site — site access, excavations, scaffolding, fall protection, electrical hazards, heavy equipment, PPE compliance, housekeeping, fire prevention, and emergency preparedness.

The site supervisor or appointed safety officer must complete this inspection before each working day begins and after any significant change in site conditions. All Unsatisfactory items must be corrected before work begins in the affected area. Retain completed forms for the duration of the project plus two years, as they may be required by regulatory inspectors or in the event of an incident investigation.
