Every delivery is a potential food safety risk. This receiving inspection checklist gives your team a consistent process for verifying vehicle hygiene, product temperatures, packaging integrity, and labelling before accepting goods into the kitchen. Documenting each delivery supports your HACCP prerequisite programme and creates a clear record trail for health inspections.

Keep a stack of blank forms at the receiving area. Complete one for every delivery, attach it to the delivery note, and file both together. Reject or segregate any items that fail the checks and notify the supplier promptly.
