Regular warehouse safety inspections identify hazards before they cause injuries, protect against regulatory penalties, and demonstrate a proactive safety culture to insurers and auditors. This formal inspection form covers every major risk area in a distribution or storage facility — from floor and aisle conditions through racking integrity, forklift pre-operation, fire protection, hazardous materials storage, and electrical safety.
Conduct a full inspection at least monthly; high-throughput facilities should inspect weekly. All Unsatisfactory findings must generate a corrective action with an assigned owner and target completion date. Retain completed forms for a minimum of three years or as required by your jurisdiction's OHS regulations.
